    This article is based on an investigation that pursues the general objective of analyzing the use of an ICT tool as a didactic strategy to improve academic achievements; according to this, it has been taken as a population and shows the total number of students enrolled in the Systems and Computer Engineering degree at the Private University of Trujillo, during the 2018-I semester. The proposed hypothesis establishes that the use of an ICT tool as a didactic strategy for teachers produces an insignificant improvement in academic achievement. From the evaluation of the results obtained, it was concluded that; the academic achievements that were identified with the indicator: number of courses deprecated showed a value of indifference, and; in terms of indicators, level of motivation for the study, and level of perception of educational services; it is appreciated that there was a little significant improvement.
