The present investigation was developed in the Miramar annex in the district of Santiago de Challas, province of Pataz department of La Libertad as a result of the need to have a potable water system, optimal for the population in order to reduce multiple infectious diseases. contagious and especially acute diarrheal diseases (EDAS), which affect the population. The present research study is not considered a hypothesis, since it is a non-experimental thesis because the variable is not manipulated, of a descriptive, non-probabilistic and convenience type. For the representation, bar graphs and statistics were used. With the proposal of this design, it is expected to help solve the problem of lack of drinking water, being of great importance the design of the components for the development of the project and subsequent approval. The authorities in turn must give priority to their management of financing, the project to be developed must be viable, it must be the maximum object of priority, given that the supply of drinking water is very necessary to minimize the mortality due to diseases in the population. In the present investigation reliable techniques and instruments have been used to obtain field data. For the design, the source flow was determined considering the current population, which in this case is 148 inhabitants. It was determined that the future population at 20 years is 195 inhabitants. With the present investigation it is tried to improve the development of the population with a respectable quality of life, to impel the progress of the population that urgently needs an efficient endowment of drinkable water.

The present investigation is the design proposal of the potable water system in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Jacob, Condogorco village, Santa Cruz de Chuca district, Santiago de Chuco province and La Libertad department. Therefore, it is necessary to study the theoretical basis for the need to propose the structural design for the potable water system under safe drinking conditions for the population. The great importance of the theoretical basis for this research lies in the improvement of the supply of the potable water service in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Jacoco Caserío de Condogorco, Santa Cruz de Chuca district, benefiting from the quality of life of its inhabitants and contributing in the reduction of the high incidence rates of diseases. The main problem must be solved considering in principle the theoretical basis for the proposal of this design, which is why this research is important. With the present investigation, presenting the theoretical bases for the design of the potable water system, the development of all the inhabitants of the area that it would bring but also for the improvement of quality of life and promoting its progress is sought so that By giving importance to projects of this nature, the urgent demand for potable water is efficiently addressed to the populations that currently demand it, for this, appropriate, reliable and valid techniques and instruments are used for data collection.

In the design for an optimal and quality supply improving the conditions of quality of life of the population, the calculations and technical proposal were made that favor the correct use and conditioning for the proper management of the same inhabitants through the training and operation of the system , establishing as parameters the number of inhabitants to whom the service will be provided analyzing the supply and demand and the capacity of the catchment to supply the population under study. As we will also take into account the design of the pressure losses and optimized pressures to avoid collapses of the system installation, using the appropriate diameter to meet the design and demand. We lay an Inca foot to the chlorination of the water and its quality, this will be done in a properly maintained storage as required, the quality symbols are reflected in the drip coloration of the water.

In this research topic, we intend to give priority to providing the community with a quality drinking water system where the principles are good installation and good training, operation and maintenance of the system, where contemplating the design period are the basis for losing That the population is creditor of a good quality of life. The research basically responds to the multiple requests raised by the organized society of these sectors, Because the population of these sectors currently consumes poor quality water (there are no studies that indicate that the water consumed by the population is suitable for human consumption) and also do not have a UBS system, these factors cause the increase of various diseases related to the lack of these services, so the Project contemplates improving the living and health conditions of the population of Chuquiten, through the Installation of the Potable Water System and Basic Rural Sanitation Service. The proposal responds to the policies and strategic objectives of the sanitation sector. The present study is prepared based on high poverty statistics that are mediated of prevention or improve the quality of life conditions of the most remote localities. For the district of Bolívar there is a population growth rate of 0.3%, this calculated with a geometric projection for being a rural population, based on the INEI censuses of 1993 and 2007 For the current investigation it has been considered a total replacement of the existing pipeline both conduction line and distribution if there is one, so it has not been considered lost as it is completely a new system.

Currently the Caserío de New Progresso La Chira, has a water network installed more than twenty years ago by FONCODES. With regard to basic rural sanitation, the New Progresso La Chira hamlet does not have basic sanitation homes, they only have dry pit latrines, installed ten years ago by the Agallpampa District Municipality. The drinking water service has JASS, previously formed a single hamlet with Paihual and had an open network of SAP” diameter SAP PVC pipe, which fed about twenty homes located adjacent to the LI 790 neighborhood road. In the year 2010 the New Progresso La Chira sector, becomes independent forming a new hamlet, therefore the population of this new hamlet has increased and therefore the demand for the liquid element is greater, leaving the existing drinking water network obsolete and collapsing, since it cannot serve the entire population. In summary, this project arises from the need to solve the problem of water and basic sanitation of the Caserío de New Progresso La Chira, which has led to a low quality of life in this sector, due to the increase in gastrointestinal, dermal and malnutrition, aggravating the already deteriorated population economy.
