Item type:Item, Determinación de las zonas de riesgo de licuefacción de suelos durante un sismo en el distrito de Víctor Larco Herrera, Trujillo 2018.(Universidad Privada de Trujillo, 2020) ;Heras Flores, Pepe WalterDurand Bazán, Enrique ManuelThe present investigation, supported by the district municipality of Víctor Larco Herrera and the University of Trujillo, includes the determination of the zones of risk of liquefaction of soils during an earthquake in said district of the province of Trujillo; the research process lasted approximately two months between data collection and analysis in the laboratory INGEOMA S.A.C. The purpose of this research is to carry out a liquefaction risk cartogram in this area so that appropriate measures are taken for the prevention of disasters and human losses during a telluric event. The method of Seed and Idriss was used to determine the resistance of the soil against the liquefaction power of an assumed earthquake of approximately 7.5 on the Mercalli intensity scale. The research is justified in the high water table of the area, the humidity and the sandy soil type, characteristic of a soil that tends to liquefy; In addition to the high population density that inhabits this area without doing a minimum soil study. The liquefaction of soils can greatly affect a city during an earthquake, and this can be predicted by past events or normal soil stresses in the area; for this, an amount of 40 points was taken from the entire district, as indicated by the E030 standard, depending on the majority use of the place. The test used for the collection was the SPT and then the characterization of the samples was carried out in order to determine their liquefaction potential. Expected results were obtained, where it is observed that the closer the coast is, the more likely to liquefy exist; It was also possible to classify the soils in three types: the soils that liquefy in their entirety, the soils that only liquefy 5 meters deep, and the soils that do not liquefy at all. In this way it is possible to warn and take the appropriate measures for each case during an earthquake. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Bases teóricas para la determinación de las zonas de riesgo de licuefacción de suelos durante un sismo(Universidad Privada de Trujillo, 2018) ;Heras Flores, Pepe WalterVillar Quiroz, JosualdoSoil dynamics are much less studied and more unpredictable, causing many problems in different types, in particular, when the soil is mostly made up of sand and saturated, a phenomenon called Soil Liquefaction occurs, which can explain how loss of resistance to the cutting of the soil that, when transformed into a kind of viscous liquid, is incapable of resisting loads. In no district of Trujillo has a study of risk zones of soil liquefaction been carried out. The district of Víctor Larco Herrera is located 4 km from the city of Trujillo, in the South West part. Its topography is flat with uniform slope of 0 and 1% up to a height of 3 to 10 meters above sea level, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The ground resource of the district is characterized by the high level of the water table and its salinity; however, there are no studies on the possible liquefaction of soils during an earthquake since the greatest apparent concern is coastal erosion. In the present research work it is highlighted what the NTP indicates. The Responsible Professional will carry out the corresponding study to rule out or verify the occurrence of the phenomenon of liquefaction in the soils located under the water table. This will be done using the method of Seed and Ydris; This method was developed based on in-situ observations of the behavior of sand deposits during past earthquakes. The process involves the use of standard penetration resistance. (Technical Standard E 050)
