The research in this paper aims to develop flexible pavement design based on a
traditional method, which is the AASHTO 93 method for flexible pavement, which is
determined through the Structural Number "SN" that must withstand the load level
required by the project in accordance with the reality of human settlement New
Indoamerica.
The methodology used in the development of this project is to get all the data as
pictures and abacuses the AASHTO-93 method, before being replaced in the formula of
structural number and obtain the thickness of the asphalt layer 2 basis 6 and sub base 6¨
according to design. Therefore it is concluded that the design was chosen in the
calculation is correct and the most suitable to the reality of Human Settlement New
Indoamerica.
