    The present investigation was developed in the Aguyaco annex in the district of Chillia, province of Pataz and department of La Libertad as a result of the need to have a potable water system, optimal for the population in order to reduce multiple infectious diseases. contagious and especially acute diarrheal diseases (EDAS), which affect the population. The present research study is not considered a hypothesis, since it is a non-experimental thesis because the variable is not manipulated, of a descriptive, non-probabilistic and convenience type. For the representation, bar graphs and statistics were used. With the proposal of this design, it is expected to help solve the problem of lack of drinking water, being of great importance the design of the components for the development of the project and subsequent approval. The authorities in turn must give priority to their management of financing, the project to be developed must be viable, it must be the maximum object of priority, given that the supply of drinking water is very necessary to minimize the mortality due to diseases in the population. In the present investigation reliable techniques and instruments have been used to obtain field data. For the design, the source flow was determined considering the current population, which in this case is 145 inhabitants. It was determined that the future population at 20 years is 199 inhabitants. With the present investigation it is tried to improve the development of the population with a respectable quality of life, to impel the progress of the population that urgently needs an efficient endowment of drinkable water.

    The present investigation attempts to establish the theoretical basis for the proposed design of the potable water system of the Aguyaco Annex of the district of Chillia, province of Pataz, department of La Libertad. The study of establishing the theoretical basis arises from the need to propose the design for the drinking water system and to have an efficient potable water service. The great importance of the theoretical bases for this project lies in the improved supply of drinking water service in the Aguyaco Annex of the Chillia District, benefiting the population and contributing to the considerable reduction of gastrointestinal diseases. The main problem must be solved considering in principle the theoretical basis for the proposal of the present design, that is why this work is important. With the present investigation, presenting the theoretical bases for the design of the drinking water system, it is proposed to propose the development of the population improving, in principle, the quality of life and promoting the progress of it, by giving importance to projects of this nature efficiently meets the urgent demand for drinking water to the populations that currently require it, for this, we use appropriate, reliable and valid techniques and instruments for data collection.
