    The present investigation tries to establish the theoretical bases, for the proposal of design of the potable water system in the neighborhood los ángeles de jacob, caserío de Condogorco, district of Santa Cruz de Chuca, province of Santiago de Chuco and department la Libertad. For this reason, it is necessary to make the study of establishing the theoretical bases before the need to propose the structural design for the potable water system in safe conditions of potability for the population. The great importance of the theoretical bases for this research lies in the improvement of the supply of drinking water service in the Los Angeles district of Jacobo Caserío de Condogorco, district of Santa Cruz de Chuca, benefiting in the quality of life of its inhabitants and contributing in the decrease of the high incidence rates of diseases. The main problem must be solved considering in principle the theoretical basis for the proposal of the present design, which is why this investigation is important. With the present investigation, presenting the theoretical bases for the design of the potable water system, the development of all the inhabitants of the zone that would bring is sought but also for the improvement of quality of life and impelling the progress of the same reason why By giving importance to projects of this nature, the urgent demand for potable water is efficiently addressed to the populations that currently demand it, using appropriate, reliable and valid techniques and instrumenta for data collection.
