Item type:Item, Alternativas de solución a fallas del pavimento flexible, en prolongación francisco de zela, Trujillo, La Libertad – 2018(Universidad Privada de Trujillo, 2018) ;Salinas Ullilen, MelquiVillar Quiroz, Josualdo CarlosThe objective of the present investigation is to determine the best alternative solution to the superficial failures of the flexible pavement of the Francisco de Zela extension from block 01 to block 06 in the district of Trujillo. It began with fieldwork, where through an observation guide, was determined through visual inspections: the class, severity and number of failures found, registering these in the appropriate formats for the corresponding calculation. Then with the data obtained, the processes in the cabinet were started applying the corresponding methodologies, and as a result a pavement condition index of 45 was obtained, that is to say that the pavement under study is in a regular state, according to the table of the Degree of the condition of pavement. With this result, we can conclude that due to the condition of the pavement the normal circulation of vehicular traffic is impaired, since it does not provide adequate serviceability or safety to the transporters, pedestrians and the entire population directly benefiting. It was observed that the faults of greater incidence are: Crocodile skin, potholes, peeling by weathering, detachment of aggregates, followed by longitudinal and transversal cracks. We can also say that 38% of the pavements under study is Regular, 30% is good, 22% is bad, and the others are less than 10%. According to the result of the pavement condition index, adequate Corrective Maintenance of the section under study must the carried out. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
