    In this research work on Calle Rafael Sanzio, stretch Market Santa Rosa Forest - Av. Ricardo Palma, he became a visual inspection and a record of all faults of the track, achieving determine the current state of the pavement, with the ASTM D6433 using the manual method and the parameters PCI other hand pavement evaluation when the PCI = 0 is a bad pavement and when the PCI = 100 is an excellent pavement. Street Rafael Sanzio in a distance of 1,000 m was taken. (1 Km) with the width of the roadway 6.50 m. along the route. According parameters PCI was determined that each section should measured 35.40 long, resulting in 29 sampling units with an area of 230.10 m2 each section. This project was divided into seven parts, where the first part deals with the problematic reality which speaks of the poor state of the roads and their discomfort it causes in people who use daily this way to scroll, justification of the problem would be to keep the track in good condition and finally the objectives assess the state of preservation of way. The second part is the theoretical framework and theoretical bases. In the third part the formulation of the hypothesis, in the fourth part is the application of the method in the study area. In the fifth of the materials and methods mentioned in the sixth values of the sampling units are shown, in the seventh of the results and the failures that affect the pavement is described. Arriving at the final conclusion that the current state of Rafael Sanzio Street, Santa Rosa el Bosque market segment - Av. Ricardo Palma, is good with an average PCI of 57.

    The research in this paper aims to develop flexible pavement design based on a traditional method, which is the AASHTO 93 method for flexible pavement, which is determined through the Structural Number "SN" that must withstand the load level required by the project in accordance with the reality of human settlement New Indoamerica. The methodology used in the development of this project is to get all the data as pictures and abacuses the AASHTO-93 method, before being replaced in the formula of structural number and obtain the thickness of the asphalt layer 2 basis 6 and sub base 6¨ according to design. Therefore it is concluded that the design was chosen in the calculation is correct and the most suitable to the reality of Human Settlement New Indoamerica.
