The present investigation attempts to establish the theoretical basis for the proposed design distribution network of the potable water syste, department of La Libertad. The study of establishing the theoretical basis arises from the need to propose the design for the drinking water system and to have an efficient potable water service. The great importance of the theoretical bases for this project lies in the improved supply of drinking water service District, benefiting the population and contributing to the considerable reduction of gastrointestinal diseases. The main problem must be solved considering in principle the theoretical basis for the proposal of the present design that is why this work is important. With the present investigation, presenting the theoretical bases for the design of the drinking water system, it is proposed to propose the development of the population improving, in principle, the quality of life and promoting the progress of it, by giving importance to projects of this nature efficiently meetsthe urgent demand for drinking water to the populations that currently require it, for this, we use appropriate, reliable and valid techniques and instruments for data collection.

The present investigation is carried out in the city of Jaén, department of Cajamarca to present the theoretical bases where it is proposed to propose the best alternative between a flexible or rigid pavement, and in this way improve the passability in the Antisuyo street. For the design of a rigid or flexible pavement one has to resort to bibliographic sources such as the AASHTO93 standard, observation guides and forms that help us to have information about the soil, the traffic and the state of roads, these data will be processed using manuals of the MTC and the aforementioned norm, with the information obtained from this research it will be possible to establish the Theoretical Bases of Design of rigid or flexible pavements that will be applied in the field and thus fulfill our objective of verifying the impact of a paving design in the improvement of passability.

The increasing cost of the stabilizing traditional agents and the need to possess the utilization of industrial and agricultural waste beneficial ends of engineering in La Libertad, stimulated the present investigation on the potential of stabilization of the ash of bagasse (CBCA) in clayey highly expansive soils. This research work aims to determine the theoretical basis on the influence of the addition of CBCA in the stabilization of soils at the subgrade level in the district of Laredo. The preliminary investigation of the soil of the District of Laredo shows that it belongs to the class A-7-5 according to classification AASHTO. The soils in this class generally are poorly used in engineering. Atterberg's limits, swell frees, index of swell frees, index of swell frees, proctor modified and CBR was used to evaluate the properties of the stabilized soil. The theoretical basis allows us to predict that there is an improvement in the geotechnical properties of soil stabilized with CBCA, because it reduces the plasticity index, swelling and MDD with an increase in OMC and CBR with all the highest CBCA contents.

The present investigation developed the analysis of the seismic vulnerability of informal dwellings conformed by masonry system confined in the district of Moche, province of Trujillo. The Moche district has grown considerably in recent years, there is a large number of informal homes that their owners built without any professional advice, so this research was conducted in order to determine how vulnerable these houses are to a seismic event, basing on standards such as the E-030 of seismoresistente design and the E-070 of confined masonry. In this research, the theories of different authors were collected, in order to clarify some aspects, defining the development of the seismic vulnerability analysis theories of informal dwellings before a seismic event. Regarding the results, the information of publications of theses and books was finalized and they were the source to establish the theoretical bases referring to the subject of analysis of seismic vulnerability of informal dwellings with the purpose of determining how vulnerable they are to a seismic event, based on modes to assess seismic vulnerability,which will be applied in the thesis report.
