In the present research, establish the traffic study for the design of the improvement of the Agallpampa - Chanchacap Highway, Salpo District, Otuzco Province, La Libertad Department; Taking into account the need of the population to improve their roads, the investigation establishes the traffic study, this arises from the need to propose the design for the improvement of the neighborhood road and to have an efficient pedestrian traffic service and vehicular. The importance of this investigation of the traffic study, for this project lies in the improvement of the roads of the Town Center of Chanchacap, benefiting the population and contributing to improvements in social life, improvement in the economic development of the population and generating a link between towns and intercommunication improvements with towns. The main problem must be solved considering in principle the traffic study for the proposal of the present design, that is why this work is important. With the present investigation, presenting the traffic study for the design of the improvement of the neighborhood roads of the Town Center of Chanchacap, projects of this nature are served efficiently after the need for social and family development of the towns. For this research, appropriate, reliable and valid techniques and instruments are used for data collection. As a result, an average daily traffic of 24 vehicles per day was obtained among other data.

In Peru, road design is one of the largest projects. Due to its contribution to the development of the provinces, cities and towns. The purpose of the research is "Rehabilitation of the Neighborhood Road. It will be developed fulfilling all the specific objectives that arises in the investigation for its development and execution of said project. The purpose of the present is to rehabilitate the neighborhood road located in the District of Parcoy, the section starts in the hamlet of San Fernando passing through Trapiche - Arcay, ending in the hamlet of Alpamarca. For this we carry out the well detailed studies of the road such as: soil study, survey to non-experimental descriptive research in or that is; topographic, study of quarries, hydrological study, analysis of geometric design and budget preparation, applying the technical knowledge of engineering and current regulations by the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The road improves the quality of life of the inhabitants to have greater access to health centers, education and economic social development. Finally, it was concluded with a budget for the execution of the project with a total cost S /. 572 043.65, are five hundred and seventy-two thousand and forty-three with 65/100 soles Key words: rehabilitation, local canine, topographic survey, soil study, hydrological study, geometric design.
