    In this research work carried out on Av. Antenor Orrego, Urb. Trupal - Urb. Los Claveles section, a visual inspection and a record of all road failures was made, determining the current state of the pavement, with the use of the ASTM D6433 manual PCI method and the established parameters, taking into account the evaluation of the pavement when the PCI = 0 is a bad pavement and when the PCI = 100 is an excellent pavement. On Av. Antenor Orrego, Urb. Trupal - Urb. Los Claveles section, a single track was taken, taking a distance of 1,000 m. (1 Km) being the width of the roadway 7.10 m. along the road. According to the PCI parameters, it was determined that each section should measure 32.47 meters long, resulting in 30 sampling units with an area of 230.54 m2 each section. This project was divided into seven parts, where the first part deals with the problematic reality where the poor state of the roads and their discomfort caused by users who use this route to travel daily, the justification of the problem would be to maintain the track in good condition and finally the objectives evaluate the state of road preser vation. In the second part is the theoretical framework and the theoretical bases. In the third part of the formulation of the hypothesis, the fourth part deals with the application of the method in the study area. In the fifth part the materials and methods used are mentioned, in the sixth part the values of the sampling units are shown, in the seventh part the results and the faults that affect the pavement are described. Finally, it is concluded that the current status of Av. Antenor Orrego, Urb. Trupal - Urb. Los Claveles section, is good with an average PCI of 55.

    In this research work on Calle Rafael Sanzio, stretch Market Santa Rosa Forest - Av. Ricardo Palma, he became a visual inspection and a record of all faults of the track, achieving determine the current state of the pavement, with the ASTM D6433 using the manual method and the parameters PCI other hand pavement evaluation when the PCI = 0 is a bad pavement and when the PCI = 100 is an excellent pavement. Arriving at the final conclusion that the current state of Rafael Sanzio Street, Santa Rosa el Bosque market segment - Av. Ricardo Palma, is good with an average PCI of 57.
